WHAT IS THE RAINMEN CHALLENGE?
It is not a race but a regular drive which demands precision with map reading and a Iron Butt. Therefore it is strictly in compliance with the Highway Code; this is unavoidable for participation in the Challenge. Participants undertake to comply with the above and the Organization cannot be held responsible for any accidents. There is no date for the Challenge, as everyone can start to suit themselves; there will be a special sticker “Winter Challenge” for those who take part in the Challenge Transappenninica, and Four Provinces; from December 1st to February 28th
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE RAINMEN CHALLENGE?
A lot of passion for motocycles, a comfortable bike, and plenty of stammina, plus a good MAP; that’s all.
HOW TO VALIDATE YOUR CHALLENGE?
At the Check Point you must check the receipt that the date and time are correct, as this will give you the official Green Light for your start. You will then proceed to all the other Check Points. If the time between the receipt of the first and the last are not spent of the maximum established for each Challenge, please contact the organizers at spazzavento@dada.it When we establish the correct result of your trial we will send you a Commemorative Sticker which will testify to your success.
TIP FOR A SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME OF YOUR CHALLENGE
A. Before leaving, carefully study the MAP and memorize the route and its Geography
B. Where same shops are closed, look for an alternative place that can give you a receipt for a purchase so as to document the transaction on that day and at the hour stated.
C. You should be at the the START CHECK POINT no later than 9 am. (Be aware of unknown causes for delays)
D. If you are unable to complete the Challenge within the time limit as required it’s possible you may succeed the next timer and have more fun; REMEMBER, there are often unknown and attractive regions which can slow down your progress, so enjoy it.
