Venerd\u00ec ho ricevuto i preziosi adesivi Extreme: erano solamente otto, uno \u00e8 dedicato all’archivio, ne rimangono 6. Pochi mi son detto, bisogner\u00e0 consegnarli solo ai primi, cio\u00e8 a coloro che arrivano con il tempo massimo, come da regolamento\u2026<\/p>\n

Sabato alle 14:30, a Candeglia la strada era deserta, il bar Rossella silenzioso, la giovane coppia che lo gestisce era a pranzo o chi sa dove e la vecchia nonna neppure in grado di abbassare le leve della "faema".
Una giornata di fine febbraio arrivata a giugno.
Queste le premesse dell’extreme: due i partenti.
I sedici gradi e le nuvole cariche di pioggia potevano deludere chiunque ma non un rainmen.
Sbagliato: l’Extreme non \u00e8 un’uscita qualsiasi, \u00e8 davvero estremo.
Duecento venti chilometri in cinque ore significa 44 chilometri l’ora, non considerando le tre fermate ai Check Point.<\/font><\/div>\n
Le strade, anche se bellissime (e dire che le conosco), sono strette e con variabili che in uscite normali non verrebbero mai prese in considerazione.<\/font><\/div>\n
Due esempi? I cigli delle strade non puliti (che impediscono la visuale) e l’accumulo di terriccio con foglie depositato dalle forti piogge quasi sempre nel centro delle curve.
Quindi, in questa prova, il clima incide molto sui tempi di percorrenza, le sue variabili imponderabili diventano qui determinanti per terminare entro i tempi dati.
Altri dettagli per\u00f2 possono influire sul risultato, mettete per esempio che nel secondo Check point il bar abbia la toilette al primo piano e l’unico modo per raggiungerla sia un ascensore lentissimo.<\/font><\/div>\n

Se nei casi urgenti questo pu\u00f2 diventare un incubo, nei casi normali ci vogliono almeno cinque minuti abbondanti per risolvere il problema.<\/font><\/div>\n
Bene, per farla breve, siamo giunti a met\u00e0 <\/font>percorso, poco prima di Bagni di Lucca, avendo bruciato i due terzi del nostro tempo a <\/font>disposizione, rimanevano 100 km di montagne da percorrere in un\u2019ora e un quarto. Impossibile. Fine del Challenge.
Il bilancio \u00e8 comunque assolutamente in attivo perch\u00e9 la luce, la temperatura, le strade deserte erano un regalo perfetto.
Rimane un punto: i sei adesivi saranno sufficienti per i prossimi tre anni?<\/font><\/div>\n

On Friday I received the precious stickers Extreme: they were only eight, one is dedicated to the archive, they\u00a0 remain some six.

Other details, however, may influence the outcome, for example, put that in the second check point the bar has a toilet on the first floor and the only way to achieve it is a slow elevator.<\/p>\n

If in urgent cases this can become a nightmare, in normal cases it takes at least five minutes each to solve the problem.Well, in order to make it shorter, we arrived at Midway, just before Bagni di Lucca, having burned the two thirds of our time, remained 100 km of mountains to go in an hour and a quarter. Impossible! The budget is absolutely in surplus because light, temperature and roads were desert and solitary: a perfect gift.<\/p>\n
